The Bavarian Palace Administration however sees the operation of drones as a serious potential risk for Neuschwanstein Castle and its visitors. We therefore exercise our property right in accordance with the German constitution (§ 903 BGB) and, after weighing up the interests involved, prohibit take-off and landing on our property, among other things due to the crowds of people at Neuschwanstein Castle. In general, flying over crowds of people is not permitted (in accordance with Regulations [EU] 2018/1139 [Basic Regulation] and [EU] 2019/945 and 2019/947 and national law).
Here you will find information on the general regulations concerning the use of drones/multicopters.
